saat tower

Tabriz Municipality Palace had been constructed in 1314 SH (1934) Hadj Arfa-o-l-Molk Djalili as municipality presidency on abandoned and dilapidated cemetery on Nubar alley, by German engineers supervision. It has Saat (clock) tower ringing every 15min and declaring passing time for Tabriz people. This building, now City and Municipality Museum, with carved stone façade and the plan in compatibility with German pre-Second War plans located in square, known as Meydane-Saat, in middle of the city and is ready for greeting to daily tourist and guests.
